12/3/09:
We are pleased to announce the final results of The Ledge 2009 Poetry Awards Competition. We received a record number of entries this year, and we were very encouraged by the quality of the poems submitted to the competition.
We thank all our readers and the entrants for their patience in awaiting the competition results, and we look forward to seeing your work again in 2010.
As always, each entry we receive is read with consideration and care.
In addition, copies of Bar Napkin Sonnets by Moira Egan, winner of The Ledge 2008 Poetry Chapbook Award are available through December 31 at the discounted rate of $8 with free shipping!
10/01/09:
Dear Friends,
After considerable deliberation, we have decided to suspend our reading of regular submissions for the 2009-2010 reading period. We are doing this to catch up on our extensive backlog of regular submissions, so that we will be completely caught up to date when we resume reading regular submissions on October 1, 2010.
Please note: we will continue reading entries to our annual poetry and fiction competitions, including The Ledge 2009 Chapbook Competition, for which the postmark deadline remains October 31, 2009. We thank you all for your patience and look forward to continuing correspondence with you.
09/09/09:
