We welcome regular submissions of 3-5 poems, or one story up to 7,500 words, with SASE, during our annual reading period of October 1 through March 31 . (Please do not submit work outside our reading period..) We are open to all styles and schools of writing. Excellence is our only criterion. Please submit your best work. Response time to regular submissions is 6-8 months (we are backlogged at present, but expect to catch up soon).

We accept simultaneous submissions, but not previously published work. (Please note: We do not accept e-mail submissions.) We encourage you to read The Ledge before submitting to the magazine. A copy of our current issue can be purchased on this web site for $10 (postpaid) or by sending a check or money order payable to The Ledge to the below address. All contributors receive a copy of the issue in which their work appears and an opportunity to order additional copies at a discounted rate.
